Dashi is a classic seasoning for legume dishes – bean, pea, chartreuse soups, stews. Also suitable for pickling cucumbers and tomatoes. Fried and boiled fish, veal and poultry dishes, meatballs, stewed meat can be enjoyed with dashi. Dashi goes well with parsley, onions, garlic, bay leaves, and rosemary. Mixed with marjoram, it resembles the taste of black pepper. Not usually used with oregano.
