It is made from the cypress (Cyclopia intermedia), which grows in South Africa. For the first time in literature, the honey bush is mentioned in 1705. Honeybush tea is drunk with milk and sugar, but in order to feel its pleasant sweet taste and aroma, we recommend drinking it pure. Its taste is compared to hot apricot jam, flowers, honey and a mixture of dried fruits. The tea is very tasty and cold and goes well with fruit juice. Children can also drink tea.
